Nestled on the edge of the Château de Versailles Gardens is a place as surprising as it is poetic: an old gondola house called La Petite Venise. This is where the ceremonial gondolas used for the boat parties on the castle’s canals were stored. Listed as a historic monument, La Petite Venise has reclaimed the spirit and soul of its original inhabitants, now transformed into a chic and relaxed trattoria.
La Petite Venise, a true ‘re-enchantment by the South,’ welcomes you to its restaurant hall or one of its two private lounges for your private or professional events. When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy the beautiful terrace-garden, surrounded by roses and hornbeams.
