Café-Librairie de l’Orangerie
This warm space combines café, bookshop and architecture, inviting each visitor to extend their museum experience in a unique atmosphere.

A living space at the heart of the museum
Located in the very heart of Paris, in the Tuileries Garden, the Café-Librairie de l’Orangerie offers a modern and intimate place where culture, literature and art de vivre come together.
Recipes from the coffee shop repertoire
On the café side, the menu showcases specialty coffees, creative lattes and beverages inspired by the Water Lilies, as well as organic cold drinks. These are complemented by a signature croque-monsieur – also available in a vegetarian version – or a quinoa, lentil and roasted vegetable salad. For something sweet, pastries, travel cakes and biscuits are perfect to finish off lunch or enjoy at teatime. Throughout the seasons, new creations emerge: a biscuit echoing the museum’s architectural lines or a recipe paying tribute to Monet.

A resolutely contemporary spirit
Unique in a museum setting, inspired by intimate Parisian cafés and cultural bookshop-boutiques, this singular space, designed by MP&C Réalisations – Claire Tournier and Denis Paszkievicz, fits seamlessly into the museum’s refined architecture and develops a common language between café and bookshop-boutique, in a convivial atmosphere. A living space par excellence, it evolves with the seasons and temporary exhibitions, making each visit a renewed experience.
