Charm and tradition
The Grand Café d’Orléans is nestled within France’s most famous château, in the Midi Wing, also known as the Princes’ Wing. In this majestic setting, the café has been reimagined as a contemporary space by designer Aliénor Bechu. The ornate salons have regained their distinctive charm and natural light, enhanced by the interplay of textures—wood panelling, illuminated perforated metal, parquet flooring, and carefully curated colours—creating a striking and unexpected space where the spirit of château life comes alive.
