Café de la Gare
A moment of relaxation and enjoyment to complement your visit to the musée d’Orsay.

The Nef’s delights
Located in the heart of the musée d’Orsay, beneath the grand nave, the Café de la Gare invites you to enjoy a delightful gourmet break. Inspired by the spirit of the French coffee shop, it blends self-service with counter ordering.
A menu to suit every craving
The café offers accessible breakfast and lunch options, featuring a sandwich or wrap, a dessert, and a drink, with a wide variety of choices to satisfy all tastes and appetites. From the delicious vegan wrap to the green lentil salad with a poached egg, and the more traditional (and oh-so-French) baguette with mustard seed butter, white ham, and Emmental, there’s something for everyone. For those with a sweet tooth, the café also boasts a tempting selection of desserts.
- The unmissable Caesar salad
- Chocolate mousse with Breton shortbread crumble
Contemporary and refined
A unique space, perfectly and discreetly integrated into the interior design envisioned by architect Gae Aulenti, offering a moment of relaxation and indulgence right at the heart of the collection and just steps from the entrance to the museum’s temporary exhibitions.
