Café Jacques

A bucolic pause in Paris
Café Jacques is nestled in the garden of the museum, designed by landscape architect Gilles Clément. This chic and indulgent retreat invites you to unwind and savour the moment.
Parisian and contemporary recipes
The menu at this modern café celebrates vegetables and fresh produce, sourced mainly from Paris and its surrounding region. You’ll find dishes prepared with flair, alongside breakfast options and a delightful afternoon tea featuring Parisiennes—those classic, must-try French pastries. Under the guidance of Chef Florian Dannel, Café Jacques also draws inspiration from the museum’s exhibitions and permanent collections, extending the visitor experience through its cuisine.
- Brioche bread, roasted chicken, coleslaw and lightly spiced mayonnaise
- Parisian vanila flan
Transparency and lush greenery
Designed by architect Alienor Béchu from Volume ABC, the space exudes transparency, lightness, and softness. White marble tables and banquettes accented with brushed brass, paired with tawny leather armchairs, all highlight the extraordinary, unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower—so close it feels within arm’s reach through the expansive windows, thrown open on sunny days or from the stunning terrace.
